We are following recommended social distancing guidelines and have marked our floors throughout the store and at checkout.

The checkout experience is as contactless as possible.

Cleaning protocols follow CDC guidelines, including more frequent cleaning of restrooms, sanitizing checkout lanes and cleaning carts.

Fitting rooms are closed but we have extended our return policy and are accepting returns. We have also changed how we process returns for the safety of our customers and associates.

We ask our customers to consider wearing masks when shopping in our stores to protect others and yourselves.

Yes! We are committed to doing the right thing for our customers and have extended our return policy. Once stores have reopened, you may make in-store or online returns within 30 days.

Our online returns center is unable to process returns for in-store purchases. We apologize for any inconvenience. Only items purchased online may be returned via mail. You may, however, return your purchase in-store within 30 days once stores have reopened.

Unfortunately, SMart Cash Rewards that you receive in your Stein Mart Credit Card billing statement is valid in-store only. Please see question below if you are concerned about your SMart Cash expiring.

If you received Stein Mart SMart Cash Rewards in January 2020 that were originally set to expire at the end of March, you may call Synchrony Bank (855-269-2139) and ask for a new certificate. You will receive a new paper SMart Cash Rewards in your next billing statement. For SMart Cash Rewards issued in February and March, you will automatically be receiving a new certificate in your next billing statement.
